IHG focuses on the safety of its business travelers

The hotel group announced the launch of its service IHG Assist, with a goal to meeting the concerns of business travelers regarding their safety during travel to high-risk destinations.

IHG Assist is a new service to meet the needs of business travelers in terms of security and safety. It offers a series of initiatives to help and inform companies and employees traveling to destinations that have risks of natural catastrophes or where there is political or social unrest. The hotel group is seeing a growing need on behalf of its corporate clients for this type of service.

IHG Assist has three services: IHG Assist Groups & Meetings Service, a 24/7 hotline to answer questions and respond to concerns of clients in terms of security for their travel; IHG Security Consultations, to allow clients to evaluate travel risks with a professional member of IHG's international security staff; and Guest Location Services, to allow customers to locate their employees during an crisis situation.
