Azimut Hotels, Moscow, for the first time has developed a new guestroom prototype that will be implemented in its Moscow and St. Petersburg hotels, and subsequently throughout its system.
Azimut’s team said the concept meets the needs of progressive guests, as well as the demands of both local and international customers. The interior design, created by Germany’s Bruzkus Batek Architect features functional technologies, and reflects simple, harmonic forms, neutral colors and precise geometry of space.In June, the first generation of smart rooms will host guests in Azimut Hotel Saint-Petersburg (pictured above) and Azimut Moscow Tulskaya Hotel. Azimut Hotels General Director Remco Gerritsen said, “Now guests are not satisfied only by a comfortable bed and delicious breakfast at the hotel. People are interested in modern design, environment and innovative technologies. The creation of the Smart room was triggered by a new stage of the development of the chain. Currently we’ve improved all internal business processes and are proceeding to the exterior changes.”Azimut Hotels was founded in 2004 and currently comprises business class hotels in 23 cities in Austria, Germany and Russia with more than 5,500 guestrooms.
