
Marriott has announced the opening of its first property AC Hotels in Mainz, Germany.
The city's first boutique-hotel, the AC Hotels Mainz enhances the brand's portfolio composed with 95 hotels in Brazil, France, Italy, Mexico, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Following a recent refurbishment, the building has been turned into a hotel of 58 rooms with refined design by the Dutch designer Helge Docters van Leeuwe.
Guests have access to a restaurant as well as 2 multifunction rooms (max. 30 people). The hotel also implemented wireless communication solutions in the common spaces and meeting rooms to contact hotel staff.

As of January 1, 2017, the brand AC Hotels is ranked 136th hotel chain worldwide, with 95 properties and 12 758 rooms, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
