The goal of the charter is to provide framework for the use of external housekeeping services and will become effective June 1, 2014.
The new charter also guarantees remuneration for working time through the installation of electronic timekeepers, the supply of materials and training in order to preserve employee health and environmental health, the guarantee of free elections for sub-contracted housekeeping personnel during professional elections, and preference for providers offering above-standard social guarantees.

Driven by this conviction, we are very proud that this project that we have been carrying forward for several months with our social partners has been realized. Moreover, as we already did in 2013 in the Première Classe and Campanile hotels in Suresnes, we decided to expand our tests between now and 2015 to the internalization of cleaning operations at five large properties in the Paris region," declared Emmanuelle Greth, VP Human Resources at the Louvre Hotels Group.
