The independent hotel group announced the nomination of Gareth Caldecott as member of the Management Board for Rocco Forte & Family Ltd and of the Board of Directors, of Ivan Artolli as Managing Director at Verdura Golf & Spa Resort, and Martin Elsner as Director of Operations.
Gareth Caldecott becomes a member of the Management Board for Rocco Forte & Family Ltd and of the Board of Directors of Rocco Forte Hotels group. He replaces Alan Clark who is joining Hong Kong and Shanghai Hotels. Gareth Caldecott joined Rocco Forte Hotels as Financial Director after holding the same position at De Vere Group, where he contributed to the expansion of the portfolio at Westmont Hospitality for seven years, and spending four years at InterContinental Hotels Group.
Ivan Artolli was appointed Managing Director at Verdura Golf & Spa Resort after being Director of Operations in the United Kingdom, Belgium and Eastern Europe for the group. He is thus in charge of construction, sales, and operations of 87 luxury villas at the property, he remains a member of the Board of Directors and General Manager at Hôtel Amigo in Brussels.
Martin Elsner was promoted Vice President of Operations, after holding the position of COO for Germany, Italy and New Developments. He continues to be a member of the Board of Directors and to be responsible for hotels located in city centers. He will also be in charge of the next openings, in particular that of the Jeddah Hotel and Residences which is expected to open in a year.
