Rezidor Hotel Group has announced that it will be opening the Radisson Blu Beach Resort & Spa - Sochi towards the end of 2013, reaffirming its dominant position in the region.

The Radisson Blu Beach Resort & Spa, Sochi, will feature 508-room, three restaurants, two bars, three conference rooms, a business center with 1,540 square meters of additional dedicated conference space, and the largest upscale spa and leisure facility in Russia. This will consist of a 2,000 square meter spa, 2,400 square meter outdoor pool surfaces, and a 450 meter stretch of beachfront. It will be located on the Black Sea in the Caucasus Mountains, with a subtropical climate.“This signing brings our portfolio of rooms in operation and under development in and around Sochi to 2,700, and further strengthens our leading position on the Russian market,” says commented Kurt Ritter, President and CEO of Rezidor.The group was one of the first international hotel operators to arrive in Russia and the first to open a full service branch office in Moscow.
