The property was once Reykjavik’s first high-end department store.

Reykjavik Konsulat Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton, opened in the heart of downtown Reykjavik for those seeking a cultural experience or entertainment.

The 50-room hotel offers not only unique Icelandic architecture, but also special Icelandic spa, inspired by Iceland’s famous natural hot springs. GOTT Reykjavik, the hotel restaurant and bar, opens all day long.

The location of the new hotel was once a 1900s department store. "This remarkable hotel is full of character and makes for the ideal addition to our expanding collection of distinctive hotels,” said Mark Nogal, global head, Curio Collection by Hilton.

Curio Collection by Hilton, launched in 2014, is a global portfolio of upper upscale hotels and resorts handpicked for their unique character and personality.
