"Le Serge", a space to promote the sharing of skills and the passion of the hospitality sector through lunches and cocktails, will be open from 13th to 17th July 2022 on the festival site.
The space will offer the "Déjeuners [lunches] des Francofolies" from 12.30 pm each day, for the duration of the festival. Each day, an artist will create a dish with the help of a chef he/she has chosen. Their creation will then be tasted by guests.
In the evening from 9 pm onwards, "Cocktails des Francofolies" will see the creation of a cocktail chosen by another artist. A representative of the French Barworkers Association will mix the cocktails for the guests.
On 14th July, the space will host the final of the "Young Bartenders" competition organised by UMIH Formation.

We are very proud to be able to set up this space at the Francofolies Festival where professions that have been deprived of doing their work for almost two years will be able to meet up again with the public to share their passion. Authors, composers, musicians, singers, chefs and barmen light places up, and permit discoveries, meetings and exchanges. Every artist makes sound, sight and taste better. They are professionals who make us feel and stimulate our minds. In this space, the values are the same: passion and excellence, transmission of skills, youth and intergenerationality.
Roland Héguy, Confederal President of UMIH
We are very pleased with this event, which celebrates the meeting up and sharing of experiences between the actors of musical and culinary creation. After two difficult years, we are all happy to be able to get together and taste their talent in every sense of the word. The music industry and cafés, hotels, restaurants and nightclubs embody common values of sharing, conviviality and diversity that unite the French people and contribute to the return to optimism in our country. Through its cultural action and its close territorial presence with its partners, music distributors and creators, Sacem works to encourage this type of positive initiative throughout the year. Sacem is proud to contribute with Klesia and UMIH to these moments of exchange at the heart of one of the summer's essential festivals. Let's get together!
Cécile Rap-Veber, Director General of Sacem
