Michelin Announces 2018 Stars for France

Michelin has unveiled its new selection in the Michelin Guide France, with a total of 621 starred restaurants, including 27 three-star, 85 two-star and more than 500 one star restaurants. 57 new restaurants join the Michelin Star Family this year.

The 2018 selection has 2 new three-star restaurants.  

Restaurant Christophe Bacquié (Hotel & SPA du Castellet) - Le Beausset
Nestling in the Hotel du Castellet, Chef Christophe Bacquié, “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” in 2014, offers dishes such as his modern aioli, vegetables from the local market gardeners and Mediterranean octopus. 

La Maison des Bois – Marc Veyrat  - Manigod
In his chalet perched at an altitude of 1650 meters, Chef Marc Veyrat has created an almost self-sufficient place by making use of local wild produce.

Maison Lameloise (Maison Lameloise) - Chagny
True institution of the French gastronomy, the Maison Lameloise has been cultivating a certain art of living since more than 90 years. 

Le 1947 (Cheval Blanc Courchevel) - Courchevel 
The mythical vintage of Cheval Blanc ... Chef Yannick Alléno delivers a contemporary cuisine, where creativity and technical audacity are entirely guided by the search for flavors.

Auberge du Vieux Puits (Auberge du Vieux Puits) - Fontjoncouse 
Chef Gilles Goujon excels in the balance of flavors and the mastery of culinary techniques.

Auberge de l'Ill (Hotel des Berges) - Illhaeusern
Haute Alsatian cuisine is offered as part of a hotel combining design with light colors and rural charm. 

Le Petit Nice (Le Petit Nice) - Marseille
Here we discover the magnificent symbol of Marseille: bouillabaisse

Flocons de Sel (Flocons de Sel) -  Megève
Refinement, delicacy and attention of every moment make Flocons de Sel unique.

Le Cinq (Four Seasons Georges V) - Paris 
Menus are inspired by classic French culinary and the new tendency. 

René et Maxime Meilleur (La Bouitte) - Saint-Martin-de-Belleville 
René and Maxime Meilleur, father and son, have created a table of rare sincerity, a superb ode to the Savoy.

Épicure (Bristol Hotel) - Paris
The cuisine of this Meilleur Ouvrier de France Eric Frechon offers subtlety and harmony of flavors.

La Vague d'Or (La Résidence de la Pinède) - Saint-Tropez

Régis et Jacques Marcon Larsiallas (Régis & Jacques Marcon Hotel) - St Bonnet le Froid

L'Assiette Champenoise (L'Assiette Champenoise) - Tinqueux
