The Accor Group has announced that it has entered into exclusive negotiations with Andera Partners and associated investors to take control of Potel & Chabot. The hotel group plans to acquire the 63% stake in Potel & Chabot that it does not currently own in order to integrate the high-end caterer into its Luxury & Lifestyle division.

The Potel & Chabot group has two brands: Potel & Chabot and Saint-Clair. It organises prestige, made-to-measure receptions in France and abroad. Its areas of activity include receptions for large companies and private clients, major sporting and cultural events, and the management of top-of-the-range reception venues.

The acquisition is part of Accor's strategy to simplify its minority shareholdings.

The proposed transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed in autumn 2023. Following this transaction, Accor will become the sole shareholder of Potel & Chabot.
