The Steigenberger hotel group announced Hasan Yigit was appointed to the positions of VP Jaz in the City and Managing Director of Jaz GmbH, one of the group's four divisions defined in its "2020 Corporate Strategy" plan.  He began his career at the former Steigenberger Falez in Antalya, after completing dual training at Hotel Management School and a degree in Tourism Management in Turkey and Germany. He will endorse his new positions on October 1, 2015, as the brand prepares the openings of its first two addresses in Amsterdam and Stuttgart and aims to expand its footprint through eight additional units over the next five years.

"Hasan Yigit is a true cosmopolitan; He possesses the necessary expertise to achieve a successful positioning of our third brand as we continue to pursue our policy of international expansion", said Puneet Chhatwal, CEO of Steigenberger Hotels.

On January 1, 2015, Steigenberger was the 19th European hotel group in terms of number of rooms 13,742 in 76 properties through the two brands, Steinbenberger (41 hotels) and InterCityHotel (35 hotels).
