The SHe Travel Club label is entering its third year. Designed to improve the welcome given to women in hotels, it also provides a better working environment. Once again this year, the instigators of the label wanted to reward the properties most involved in welcoming female customers.

"In 2023, our label had 300 hotels, including various brands from major groups such as Accor, Louvres Hotel, IHG, Hyatt, Radisson, Astotel and Star Hotel in more than 30 countries.

For 2024, we anticipate an 80% renewal, a large-scale roll-out and the addition of new brands such as NH, which started with 4 hotels and has asked us for a quotation for 150 establishments, as well as the Marriott and Hilton groups.

This summer, the eyes of the world will be on France and Paris with the Olympic Games. It's an opportunity for the French hotel industry to shine and be an ambassador for our values, offering a showcase for equality and hospitality, with a particular focus on welcoming women.

Many women are wondering which hotels are the best in terms of comfort and safety. In 2023, the label was a differentiating asset, but in 2025, it will no doubt be discriminating not to have embarked on this transformation in order to meet the customisation expectations of the most promising market: women". Valérie Hoffenberg stressed in her opening speech.

Vanguélis Panayotis, CEO of MKG Consulting and Hospitality ON, joined Jean-Pierre Nadir, founder of Fairmoove, to emphasise the importance of having an offering that takes CSR issues into account in order to stand out from the crowd.

"CSR is a cost, but it can also be a benefit". Jean-Pierre Nadir emphasised.

Rebecca Xerri, Director of Digital Transformation at CDS Groupe, was joined by Delphine Brousset, Global Travel Manager at Decathlon, to talk about the importance of taking into account the expectations of female customers in business travel. Security, a warm welcome and amenities are key factors in winning the loyalty of female customers.

"It doesn't matter whether I'm in a city I know or not, with this label I know that access will be secure". Delphine Brousset pointed out.

"We used to make sure that hotels had WIFI, but now WIFI is basic and we're looking for security above all else." Added Rebecca Xerri.

This message was reinforced by Valérie Boned, President of Entreprises du Voyage and Eric Abihssira, Confederal Vice-President of the UMIH.

"On 12 December 2023, the UMIH signed an agreement with the employers' and employees' organisations, an agreement on gender equality." Reminded Eric Abihssira
