
Kezner Inernational Holdings Limited announced the nomination of two new heads at Kerzner International: Ian Connolly as Chief Development Officer and Paul Macpherson as Executive Vice President, Global Business and Real Estate Development.
As Chief Development Officer, Ian Connolly will lead all global development for the Company. He will direct teams responsible for planning and coordinating design and construction. "He has incredible passion and an unbelievable commitment to deliver the finest resorts and innovative experiences for our guests. I look forward to continuing to work with Ian as we continue to strategically focus on our growth," declared Alan Leibman, CEO Kerzner International.
Ian Connolly came to Kerzner International in 2005 as Vice President in charge of commercial development where he was involved in every aspect ogf the design and development of Atlantis, The Palm. In 2010 he was promoted to Senior Vice President in charge of development and facilities, then in 2014 as Executive Vice President, Development and Facilities.
Paul Macpherson has been named Executive Vice President, Global Business and Real Estate Development. He will drive the business development strategy to continue to contribute to the global expansion of Kerzner International's brands. "I am thrilled to have Paul join Kerzner International at this exciting time of growth for the company," commented Alan Leibman. "He is the perfect fit for this crucial role as his career achievements in global expansion and long-term management agreements reflect our current growth strategy. Paul Macpherson has joined Kerzner International with more than 30 years experience in the hospitality and financial segments. In particular he has worked for Whitbread Hotels and Restaurants International where, as President and Managing Director he implemented the ten-year international expansion strategy for Premier Inn hotels. He built that company's international presence. He also established a strong development pipeline spanning from Saudi Arabia to Indonesia.
