Jonathan Witter, new Chief Customer Officer at Hilton

The Hilton Worldwide Group has just announced the appointment of Jonathan Witter as Chief Customer Officer.

Recently appointed Chief Customer Officer at Hilton Worldwide, Jonathan Witter is responsible for managing the group's global brands, including marketing, loyalty and partnerships, IT and strategy teams.

Jonathan Witter began his career at the McKinsey & Company consulting firm, after getting a bachelor degree in economics at Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He then held the position of Executive Vice President and Head of General Distribution at Wachovia’s holding, before becoming Chief Executive Officer of Morgan Stanley bank. From 2010, he was President of Retail Banking and Direct Banking at Capital One.

As of January 1, 2016, Hilton Worldwide ranked second largest hotel group in the world, with a portfolio of 4,565 properties totaling 751,350 rooms, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
