Four Seasons Hotels CEO leaves position this year

The President and Chief Executive Officer of Four Seasons Hotels, J. Allen Smith will leave his position at the end of 2018.

J. Allen Smith was appointed President and CEO in 2013 and will leave the company at the end of 2018 or when the Board of Directors find a new successor.

Four Seasons and Chairman Isadore Sharp commented: “Through his five years of leadership, Allen has built an outstanding senior management team and successfully pursued strategic initiatives, so the company is well positioned for the next chapter of its evolution and leadership”.

As of January 1, 2017, Four Seasons ranked 49th hotel group worldwide with 106 properties totalling over 22,000 rooms, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
