
Federico González Tejera, already CEO of the Carlson Hotel Group, has just been appointed CEO of the Rezidor Hotel Group to replace Wolfgang M. Neumann, who remains on the board of directors of the group as non-executive director.
Federico González Tejera began his career at Procter & Gamble after obtaining a Master in International Business and Finance at EAP in Paris. He was then a senior executive at Disneyland Paris and, in particular, held the position of Deputy General Director. He became CEO of the NH Hotel Group in 2013 and then CEO of Carlson Hotel Group in February 2017.
As the new CEO of Rezidor, he will be in charge of continuing the strategy developed by Wolfgang M. Neumann, which has helped to strengthen the group's presence in emerging markets and has expanded the economic, lifestyle and high-end segments.

As a reminder, As of January 1, 2016, the Carlson Rezidor group, taken over by the Chinese group HNA in December 2016, had 182,521 rooms in nearly 1,145 properties, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
