Ben Thomas, who joined the German hotel chain pentahotels three years ago, has been appointed Regional Director, UK.
Apart from his three-year experience working at the hospitality division of the Rosewood group, Ben Thomas has already worked within the hotel industry: he spent 3 years working as General Manager at Millennium & Copthorne Hotels, and held various positions at Village Hotels, Quality Hotels as well as Moat House Hotels.
This appointment follows that of Andrew Munt, who was appointed Vice President of Operations in June. Ben Thomas will thus be placed under his supervision: Andrew Munt occupied the functions of Regional Director, UK from 2013 to 2016. "With such a proven record of success since joining pentahotels, Ben is absolutely the right individual to lead the UK in to its next chapter," he stated. "I am delighted to hand the region over to Ben and am excited to see how it evolves under his unique leadership style."
As of January 1, 2017, pentahotels has 28 hotels worldwide and 5,385 rooms, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
