As the Director of HotelServices France and Switzerland inside AccorHotels group, Sophie Etchandy-Stabile was in charge of the development of ibis, Novotel, Mercure and F1. She just announced her departure expected at the end of the month.
Sophie Etchandy-Stabile will leave her position as director of HotelServices France for Accor Hotels Group at the end of September. She has held this position since 2015. As director, she was in charge of the development of ibis, Novotel, Mercure and HotelF1 brands in France. Since 2017, she was general director of HotelServices for both France and Switzerland.
Sophie Etchandy-Stabile began her carrier at Deloitte after graduating from the Ecole Supérieure de Gestion et Finances. She joined AccorHotels in 1999 as director of Consolidation and Information systems of the group. She was appointed General auditor for the group in 2006, before joining the Executive Committee in 2010 as a financial director. From the end of 2013, she also directed investor relations and cash management, tax affairs and investments. She was also President of the group's international mixity network, Women at AccorHotels Generation (WAAG).
This departure coincides with the nomination of Frank Gervais as CEO of HotelServices branch, a job for which Sophie Etchandy-Stabile had expressed interest.
