Citadines Suites Arc de Triomphe debuts in the heart of Paris

The Ascott Limited has opened the luxurious Citadines Suites Arc de Triomphe Paris along the prestigious Avenue Kléber after a €26 million facelift.



The Ascott Limited has opened the luxurious Citadines Suites Arc de Triomphe Paris on the prestigious Avenue Kléber after a €26 million facelift. The 112-unit Citadines Suites Arc de Triomphe Paris is Ascott's second serviced residence under the upscale Citadines Suites label following the successful opening of Citadines Suites Louvre Paris near the Palais-Royal in April 2013.

Located in a 19th-century Haussmannian apartment building, the property features 112 luxury units that ranging from 35 to 108 sqm with spacious classic rooms for two and two-bedroom suites which can accommodate up to four adults and two children. The serviced residence also has a direct entrance to the recently opened restaurant L'Hexagone, helmed by chef Mathieu Pacaud, who has held three Michelin stars since 2009.

"Since Ascott acquired the Citadines apart'hotel chain in 2002, it has grown to be one of the largest Singapore companies to invest in the hospitality industry in France. In the last five years, Ascott has been upgrading many of its properties globally including Europe to enhance customer experience. By end 2016, we would have invested €125 million to refurbish 33 properties in Europe. We will continue to deepen Ascott's growth in gateway cities where we have presence such as Paris, London, Hamburg and Munich, as well as explore new opportunities to achieve Ascott's target of 80,000 apartment units globally by 2020. We will expand through acquisitions of turnkey developments or existing buildings which we can convert into serviced residences, management contracts and franchises," declared Alfred Ong, Ascott's Managing Director for Europe.

The Ascott Limited is a Singapore company that has grown to be the world's largest international serviced residence owner-operator. It has more than 22,000 operating serviced residence units in key cities of Asia Pacific, Europe and the Gulf region, as well as over 8,000 units under development, making a total of more than 31,000 units in over 200 properties.
