The majority of the newly acquired flats are located in Austria, Portugal, Spain and Italy, demonstrating limehome's strategic focus on key European markets. limehome's international growth has been fuelled by new signings in established destinations such as Valencia, Porto and Amsterdam, demonstrating the company's commitment to diversifying its presence in key tourist centres.
limehome's growth strategy also focuses on strengthening existing partnerships and leveraging successful collaborations for future expansion. In Kiel, limehome has secured a lease for 70 units in a prime location in the Old Town, with plans for availability by the end of 2025. Building on its partnership in Berlin, limehome is set to increase its presence in the Wedding district, adding more than 100 flats in Müllerstraße, which should be operational by the end of the year.
In Graz, Austria, limehome has secured the Burggasse building, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects. The building, whose façade is adorned with 43 uniquely shaped fibreglass sculptures, has already welcomed guests to its 21 flats since mid-March 2024. The speed with which limehome took possession of these flats, in just 22 days, underlines its operational agility and efficiency.
Among limehome's recent openings is a property in Vitoria-Gasteiz, in the Basque Country, in a former palace dating from the 17th century. Following restoration, the palace now offers 33 flats. The openings in Vitoria and Graz are part of limehome's wider expansion into five countries in the first quarter, including destinations such as Athens, Porto, Klagenfurt and Salzburg.
