Ascott announced the opening of a third residence under the brand Citadines at the destination: Citadines City Centre Frankfurt.

Ascott Limited is entering Germany's major cities. After opening the Citadines Kurfürstendamn Berlin and Citadines Arnulpark Munich residences, the operator is heading to Frankfurt where it inaugurated a new property at the beginning of March 2014, the Citadines City Centre Frankfurt. Located near the Messe Frankfurt exhibition grounds and Frankfurt's Central Railway Station, the residence offers 165 rooms and apartments measuring 23 to 77 square meters.

Ascott Limited hopes to continue to grow its Citadines brand in Germany and plans to open a new property in another major city in the country, Citadines Michel Hamburg. "When we open in Hamburg, in addition to our residences in Berlin, Munich and now Frankfurt, Citadines Apart'hotel will be able to host clients at the heart of Germany's four major urban centers," declared Rebecca Hollants van Loocke, Regional General Manager Ascott for Germany, the United Kingdom and Georgia. All the group's residences in Germany operate under the Citadines Apart'hotel label.
