The joint-venture between the Accor group and Pierre&Vacances/Center Parcs has announced the opening of its first establishment in the United Kingdom, in the city of Liverpool.
Adagio made ??its first steps in the British Isles with the opening of its first hotel in the United Kingdom, the aparthotel Adagio Liverpool City Centre.
Housed in a historic building in the city of the Beatles, dating from 1856, the Adagio Liverpool City Centre offers 126 apartments, ranging from studios to three rooms for six people.
"We are delighted to announce the launch of Adagio in the UK, a market that will play a key role in our future development. The opening of Liverpool is particularly exciting because we are opening our brand in the Lewis Building, a building loaded with history,"said Vangelis Porikis, Adagio Aparthotels Director for Northern and Central Europe.
The Adagio Liverpool City Centre is only the first step in the development of the brand in the UK, as it plans to open a second facility in 2014 in the city of Birmingham. "Other large projects are being considered for London, Edinburgh, Manchester, or Glasgow," adds Vangelis Porikis.
