The Regent Beijing: Reconquering the East

The second Regent hotel in the Middle Empire after the one in Shanghai, the sumptuous 500-room palace is just a few minutes away from the city’s historic center (a certain number of rooms enjoy a spectacular view of the Forbidden City). At the center of the business zone of Jin Bao Street, it also takes advantage of the proximity of the famous commercial center of Wangfujing. The property of Beijing Fu Wah Jinbao Co Ltd and the hotel is managed by Carlson Hotels Asia Pacific. After a slow period, the brand is returning to the forefront and plans to double its luxury portfolio in two years. This new opening is a sort of flagship for its ambitions. Four restaurants of contemporary inspiration, a 625sq.m banquet hall and several reception areas, an upscale spa... and the technological cherry on the cake: a new generation lighting system that makes it possible to generate all kinds of sophisticated ambiances in the room using a simple remote control. The Regent Beijing aims at the highest standards of the 5- star category to quickly establish its reputation in the Chinese capital, and that at a time when the 2008 Olympic games are taking shape.
