The love affair continues between Mövenpick and the Red Sea. The Swiss hotel group has just inaugurated its fifth hotel at El Sokhna, after those in Taba, El Gouna, El Quseir and Sharm El-Sheikh. “This resort perfectly completes our portfolio of exceptional resorts in the region,” rejoices Jean-Gabriel Pérès, the head of the Swiss group. On the edge of the desert, at the heart of the El Ein Village resort, the property takes advantage of its proximity to Cairo - 90 minutes by car – to target the leisure and business segments. The hotel and its Conferences and banquets team are able to accommodate groups of 160, or 1,000 guests for outside events. Like all common areas at the hotel, all rooms overlook the sea and have very contemporary design. Alongside the main building, the suites are mostly concentrated in the "Villa" area. But the hotel’s strong point is, of course, outside it. For relaxing or doing sports, the Mövenpick El Sokhna has its own private beach on a sea with turquoise water. The hotel also has several swimming pools. Another key element of the hotel for wellness is its Fitnesspark, an oasis of relaxation for recharging one’s batteries. The resort’s entertainment is concentrated in several bars and restaurants, including the El-Gezirah, which is on a small island where seafood and fish are grilled at their freshest.
