Accor announced that it has terminated its management contract for the Dubai establishment, of which management will go to an U.S. operator. Pullman is to open another facility in the destination in February.

Accor will no longer be responsible for the management of Pullman Dubai Mall. After termination of the contract between the hotel group and the owner of the establishment, Majid Al Futtaim Properties (MAF), the hotel management will be taken over by an U.S. hotel operator in the month of January 2013.

MAF Properties wishes to diversify its portfolio of nine hotels in Dubai, all operated under European brands: Pullman, Novotel, Suite Novotel, ibis and Kempinski. Pullman Dubai Mall could then pass into the hands of the Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, and be operated under the Sheraton brand.
