"Château du Moulinet" located on the Ault cliff (80) occupies a remarkable environmental site with an ocean view in the heart of the Grand Site Baie de Somme, labelled "Most Beautiful Bays in the World," which attracts 2 million visitors every year.
The site is owned by the Syndicat Mixte Baie de Somme - Grand Littoral Picard, which wants to develop a new landscaped district on it. In this context, it is launching a request for proposals in order to designate a pool of operators to construct and operate a new high-quality tourism complex.
The request for proposals concerns the property built in 1885 that includes:
- The castle's historical building and its outbuildings with a usable floor area of 1,125 sq.m.
- An old farm typical of the hinterland with its dovecote-porch and 473 sq.m. of usable floor area
- A building from 1962 with 1,088 sq.m. of usable floor area
- Two additional constructible landholds of 1,314 sq.m. and 1,113 sq.m.
Bid applications should be submitted before 4 September 2017 and bids should be submitted by 1 December 2017.
