The brand will debut in Osaka in Japan.

W Hotels Worldwide, a brand by Marriott International announced the opening of W Osaka in 2021. The hotel owned by Sekisui House will have 27 floors including 337 rooms and suites.

W Osaka is located among restaurants, shops and is near luxury boutiques. It is one hour from Kansai International Airport.

W Hotels will take advantage of a dynamic period as “in 2020, Japan will capture the global spotlight, welcoming nations from around the world to the country for the 2020 games,” said Anthony Ingham, Global Brand Leader W Hotels Worldwide.

As of January 1, 2017, Marriott International ranked 1st hotel group worldwide with 5,997 establishments totaling over 1,169,000 rooms, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
