StayWell and Prince Hotels announce their global expansion plan

250 hotels planned in over the medium to long-term.

After Prince Hotels bought Australia’s StayWell Hospitality Group for $38 million in October 2017, creating a combined network of 72 hotels worldwide, the two companies are set to speed up their international expansion.

The expansion will take place across the regions of Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe, US, and the Middle East.

According to Simon Wan, President and Director of StayWell, in the next ten years, 150 StayWell hotels will be developed in areas with considerable economic growth; 100 properties under Prince Hotels’ new brand, Prince Smart Inn, will be developed over the medium to long-term in Greater Tokyo and other cities in Japan.

Prince Hotels & Resorts and StayWell’s combined brand offerings include The Prince, Grand Prince Hotel, Policy, Park Regis, Prince Hotel, Leisure Inn Plus, Prince Smart Inn, and Leisure Inn.
