
With the signature of a new property on the central coast of Vietnam, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts intensifies it presence in the coutnry.
The company is preparing to increase its portfolio with the new property Mövenpick Resort Lang Co and plans to open another seven properties in Vietnam by 2020.
The opening of this seafront property is scheduled for the end of 2018. It will have 148 rooms, suites and a collection of upscale villas. It will be 30 km from Danang and 60 km from Hoi An.
The resort will offer a number of leisure and business services: a spa, a wellness center, an outdoor swimming pool, a nearby golf course, two restaurants as well as meeting rooms and a ballroom.
In an effort to reinforce the group's presence in strategic locations in Asia, Andrew Langdon, Chief Development Officer at Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts considers Vietnam to be one of the "primary development axes of Mövenpick".
As of January 1, 2017, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts ranked 52nd hotel group worldwide with 84 properties for a total of more than 21,000 rooms, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
