Marriott set to open integrated resort in Las Vegas

Marriott International announces the plan to open a new resort in Las Vegas. An integrated resort and casino to be named The Drew Las Vegas will debut the Edition brand in Las Vegas and mark the Las Vegas Strip's first JW Marriott.

Expected to open in late 2020, the resort will feature nearly 4,000 rooms and suites as well as over 500,000 square feet of convention and meeting space. Once open, the hotels will be managed by Marriott International.

Tony Capuano, EVP and Global Chief Development Officer, Marriott International, confirms that The Drew Las Vegas will become a landmark property for Marriott International.

As of January 1,2017, Marriott group ranked first global hotel group with 5,997 properties totaling more than 1,169,000 rooms, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
