Zleep Hotel continues to expand its portfolio to 14 hotels by October 1, 2020, with the acquisition of Quality Hotel Høje Taastrup in the western part of Greater Copenhagen.
The 151-room hotel has good access to Copenhagen city center due to its proximity to Høje Taastrup railway station. The hotel is expected to be in line with the chain's focus on both leisure and business travellers.
Peter Haaber, CEO of Zleep Hotel explains: "Høje Taastrup is an attractive and sought-after location for us, and therefore I am extremely pleased that the owner has confidence in our brand, and I look forward to continuing this collaboration".
The hotel will be transformed to meet the chain's business and design concept, but is expected to stand out in many ways, including a restaurant, 12 conference and meeting rooms, a large lobby with bar and lounge, and parking.
"As the hotel has many meeting and conference rooms and a large restaurant, we have chosen to continue to operate these parts. This adds a new and exciting element to Zleep Hotel's range of services. I look forward to exploiting the opportunities that come with a conference hotel," Peter Haaber said of future plans.
Zleep Hotels is a brand of Deutsche Hospitality, founded in 2010, with locations in Denmark and Sweden.
