Lucerne

Säntis Home AG and H World International (formerly Deutsche Hospitality/Steigenberger) have signed a franchise agreement for a new Zleep hotel in Lucerne-Emmenbrücke.

The new hotel will have 138 rooms, as well as a lobby with breakfast area and bar, and is due to open its doors at the end of 2027. It will be the fourth Zleep hotel in Switzerland, after the Zleep Hotel Lausanne-Chavannes, the Zleep Hotel Zürich-Kloten and the Zleep Hotel Bern-West, which are due to open in 2024 and 2025 respectively.

This wish is now coming true in Emmenbrücke, more specifically in Emmenbaum. Emmenbaum-Nord is located at the junction between Emmenbrücke station and the new district of Lucerne-Nord. Due to its central location and urban density, the development project demands high standards in terms of urban planning, architecture, landscaping, accessibility, mobility and mixed use.

The five landowners decided to develop this central area jointly and in collaboration with the municipality of Emmen and the Mirlo Urbano / Brühlmann Loetscher planning association.

"It feels great to be able to sign another Zleep Hotel in the first half of 2024. Being able to realise this project in Lucerne together with the owner is a dream come true. Lucerne has been an absolute dream destination for us to realise a Zleep Hotel with H World International." - Rico Zindel, Chief Executive Officer of Säntis Home AG
