The American hospitality brand, Viceroy Hotels & Resorts opened its first hotel on the European continent, on the Kopaonik Mountain, in Serbia.
The resort is located on the country’s largest mountain range, located in Kopaonik. Kopaonik is a 3.5 hour drive or 40-minute helicopter ride from Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport. the resort has been designed by hospitality design firm WATG with interiors by Wimberly Interiors.
It has 119 rooms, three dining venues, a full-service spa, as well as indoor and outdoor pools.
The Pique Ski Bar, overlooking the ski centre, serves light meals and drinks and hosts live performances. The Mountain Kitchen will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Library, located in the lobby, is where coffee and teas are served. An Asian-inspired restaurant will be coming soon.
The Spa by Viceroy has six treatment rooms, a beauty lab, an indoor vitality pool, and a hammam/scrub room. Other amenities include two meeting rooms, a outdoor jacuzzi, ski valet, and Generation V kids club.
