Located only 300m from metro, Suitcase Hospitality opens its fifth hotel at the eastern gates of Paris and near the recently transformed “canal de l’Ourcq”.
This new, three-star hotel, under the Ibis Styles banner, offers 120 rooms with a "storytelling" design in the spirit and DNA of the brand; and it is part of the French hotel group's continued expansion, with three new hotels planned for 2021.
After the latest openings in Paris 9e, Bois-Colombes and Gennevilliers, Suitcase Hospitality has just opened a new hotel. The hotel benefits from excellent accessibility Located only 300m distance from the metro line 5 , the future Zen 3 tramway station and close to the highways. In addition, It is located at the heart of the new brand village PADDOCK.
“This lifestyle hotel tends to welcome a diversified and complementary clientele due to its location. This one, at the gates of Paris, allows a leisure clientele to quickly access all the attractions our capital offers. The Villette Park as well as the “Cité de la Musique and the Philharmonie de Paris”, for example, are only 4 metro stations away from the hotel. Also, the banks of the Canal de l'Ourcq are undergoing a real urban and economic metamorphosis with the growing presence of numerous tertiary companies (Business Park Ecocité, Biocitech, and L'Horloge), which will attract a national and international business clientele. The latter will also appreciate its ideal location close to the main exhibition centres of Paris Nord (Villepinte and Le Bourget Exhibition Centre, Stade de France) and its easy accessibility by public transport, roads and CDG airport. The shopping center with its numerous shops, restaurants (including an 800m² food court) and contemporary art exhibition spaces (including a FRAC branch) at the foot of the hotel and open until late in the evening are a real extra service for our clients' stay.” explains Jean-Baptiste MARTIN, Managing Director and Co-founder of Suitcase Hospitality.
The lobby has been designed as a Bar / Café, a place for living and warm encounters. The interior design, imagined by the Cocorico workshop is unique and non-standardised, and has been worked on in a "re-creative" and resolutely positive approach. The storytelling draws its inspiration from the canal de l’Ourcq and the Romainville quarries with a friendly and offbeat prism. In addition, the furniture chosen and the "kids corner" meet the comfort expectations of young and old alike, in the spirit of the Ibis Styles brand and services.
This new property is in line with the Suitcase Hospitality group's strategy of developing hotels, mainly new or undergoing major refurbishment on sites in Greater Paris and other major cities. “Three upcoming openings, with a total of 320 rooms, are scheduled for 2021, each at the foot of a metro line. They will be added to the 565 rooms in our hotel complex currently in operation”, according to Jean-Baptiste MARTIN.
