Soho House will launch its second club in Scandinavia this November with an opening planned in the Swedish capital.
Soho House Stockholm will occupy a former Methodist church on Majorsgatan. Spread across three floors, the club will welcome members from Sweden and across the world. The renovated church will keep many of its 19th century architectural features, such as the high ceilings in its main hall on the 1st floor.
In addition to a mezzanine with original vaulted ceiling and an outdoor courtyard, the club will boast a club space, a House studio, a restaurant, and a bar. Club Cecconi’s will offer fresh northern Italian cuisine, served with handmade pasta. The Library bar will draw its inspiration from traditional Swedish drawing rooms and can be used to host intimate events.
Vintage Scandinavian pieces will furnish the House to give it a comfortable and classic feel. This will be complemented by a rich colour palette and patterned fabrics commissioned from local designers to give it a contemporary Nordic atmosphere.
