Sercotel Hotel Parque

As part of its expansion plan in recent years, Sercotel Hotel Group has opened the Sercotel Hotel Parque, its first hotel in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

With this new property, Sercotel now has three hotels in the Canary Islands: the three-star Sercotel Príncipe Paz, located in Tenerife, and another project under construction, also in Las Palmas, a four-star hotel located on the beachfront of Las Canteras, which is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year.

The group currently has 182 rooms in the destination and will reach 305 rooms when the third hotel is completed.

The Sercotel Hotel Parque is located in Calle Muelle de Las Palmas, 2, opposite San Telmo Park and just a few metres from the Triana open shopping area, the Cabildo Insular de Gran Canaria and the Cuyás Theatre. It is a three-star hotel with 102 rooms.

The property was designed and built by the architect Miguel Martín-Fernández de la Torre. Its façade has been included in the catalogue of environmental protection of architectural heritage by the City Council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

The hotel also has all kinds of services in its facilities, such as a business centre, a gym, four rooms for events, celebrations or company meetings, as well as a cafeteria-bar and a restaurant with a full menu and room service.

With the opening of this property, we are entering a region such as Gran Canaria, where we were not previously present and, at the same time, it allows us to incorporate a new destination into our hotel portfolio. This hotel gives a new impetus to our ambitious expansion plan, which is part of the new phase started in 2020 following the change in ownership, and strengthens our presence in the Islands, one of the main tourist destinations in the country.

José Rodríguez Pousa, CEO of Sercotel Hotel Group

The opening ceremony was attended by Yaiza Castilla, Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce of the Government of the Canary Islands, and Antonio Morales, President of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, among other authorities.
