Sercotel Playa Canteras

The Sercotel group continues its expansion plan in Spain with the opening of a fourth hotel in the Canary Islands, the Sercotel Playa Canteras in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, which becomes the group's fourth hotel in the archipelago.

The new Sercotel Playa Canteras is a 4-star hotel located just a few metres from the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium and on the beachfront, opposite the emblematic beach from which it takes its name.

The hotel is reopening after a complete renovation of its 125 rooms, many of which have sea views and private terraces, fully equipped and spread over eight floors.

The fourth floor of the property has a terrace with a hammock area, swimming pool and views of the Atlantic. Its facilities also include spacious common areas, a solarium, a Gin Bar, a gym, a coworking space, two meeting rooms and a soon-to-be-opened restaurant.

This new hotel will be of great importance in our portfolio, both for its excellent location and for the experience guests will have during their stay. The Canary Islands, one of the country's main tourist destinations, is a key location in our ambitious expansion plan in which we hope to continue to grow in the coming years.

José Rodríguez, CEO of Sercotel

This property joins two others that the group has opened in the last two years in Las Palmas: Sercotel Hotel Parque and the recently opened Sercotel Puerto de la Luz. The chain also has a hotel in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the Sercotel Príncipe Paz.
