
The German real estate company Bayerische Hausbau appointed Rosewood Hotels & Resorts to manage the hotel in Munich
The hotel will be situated within an historic building in Kardinal-Faulhaber-Strasse near the historic city center.
132 rooms and suites along with two restaurants and a bar will be available for guests.
“With its rich history and distinct culture, Munich is an ideal destination for Rosewood’s ever-expanding global portfolio, and we are thrilled to bring our [...] ‘A Sense of Place’ philosophy to this dynamic city,” says Sonia Cheng, chief executive officer of Rosewood Hotel Group.
The group also announced the opening of three hotels in Europe in Vienna, Edinburgh and London.
Munich is an attractive destination for operators and owners.
As of January 1, 2017, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts operated 20 properties totaling over 2,300 rooms, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
