Montenegro welcomes Radisson Hotel Group, which is making its debut in the country with the signing of the Radisson Blu Hotel & Resort, Kolasin.
The future 188-room hotel, offering a mix of standard rooms and suites, including junior and presidential options, is expected to welcome guests during the fourth quarter 2024 ski season.
Perched at an altitude of 1450 m, the complex is located in the "Bielasica 1450" ski centre on the Bielasica mountain. With 42 km of ski slopes and hiking trails, Kolasin is Montenegro's main ski and mountain area.
The hotel will offer a range of facilities, including a lobby bar, an all-day restaurant and a speciality restaurant, all complemented by outdoor terraces. The wellness area will include indoor and outdoor pools, as well as a fitness area with a dedicated yoga area. In addition, the meeting and event space covers more than 385 m² and includes a ballroom, a meeting room and a pre-function area.
"We take immense pride in our debut in Montenegro, a thriving market for regional tourism that perfectly aligns with our proactive coastal and urban resort expansion plans. The Kolasin mountain resort zone aligns well with our regional growth strategy, and its inclusion further strengthens our footprint in the Balkans, where we currently have 19 hotels with 3,500 rooms in operation and under development." - David Jenkins, Vice President, Business Development, Eastern Europe, at Radisson Hotel Group
