Radisson is continuing its expansion on the French market with the opening of the Radisson Hotel Reims this summer. This new hotel is the result of a redevelopment project supported by Greater Reims.
The hotel, which has just been completed, welcomes its first guests during this summer period, which promises to be a dynamic one for France, with the arrival of a large number of international tourists thanks in part to the holding of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
Taking place on a former railway site, this conversion project was designed by the Alboran group, which also owns the property. It is located close to the Arena Reims, the UCPA Sport Station and the Halles du Boulingrin in a new eco-neighbourhood developed by Greater Reims.
The Radisson Hotel Reims features 102 rooms, a restaurant called Le Pop, a fitness area, 3 meeting rooms including the indoor StudioRoof and a rooftop on the 8th floor. The property has been designed with both travellers and locals in mind, including a coworking space.
Interior architect Ana Moussinet was in charge of the hotel's design, and chose to mix bespoke furniture with vintage pieces to offer a modern, quirky vision of "the city of kings". Furthermore, in collaboration with curator Sylvie Castellani, the hotel has been enriched with works by photographer Maia Flore.
This opening is supported by the Alboran hotel group, which already has a presence in the city with the Mercure Reims Centre Cathédrale and is due to open France's first Hyatt Centric hotel in Reims next year.
The property will offer 155 rooms, a meeting area of almost 400 m², a lobby with a central bar and a champagne boutique.
