Radisson Blu accentuates its presence in Vienna

The brand announced the opening of a second hotel in Austria’s capital city.

Radisson Blu Park Royal Palace Hotel is a rebranding of an existing hotel located next to the famous tourist monument Schönbrunn Palace. In a partnership with the franchise Austria Trend, the property will be composed of 233 rooms including 21 suites.

The hotel will also provide a restaurant, lobby bar, executive lounge, gym, sauna, relaxation area, ballroom and 9 seminar rooms.

The brand is signing the second Vienna hotel after the Radisson Blu Style Hotel and the second cooperation with Austria Trend following the opening of Radisson Blu Hotel Altstadt in Salzburg in 2001.

As of January 1, 2017, Radisson ranked 23rd hotel chain worldwide with 467 establishments totaling over 104,000 rooms, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
