The Pierre & Vacances Group has officially opened the doors of a new property in Lloret de Mar this Friday, July 1, 2022, after significant investments.
The Hotel Lloret Santa Rosa, located near the beach and the commercial area of Lloret de Mar, has 129 rooms, a buffet restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool and parking spaces.
The opening of this 4-star hotel on the Iberian Peninsula follows a €2.2 million investment by the Group to improve the existing building, with a focus on the sixth floor.
The investment was dedicated to improving the rooftop bar, as well as adapting the rooftop terrace, resulting in a terrace with panoramic views on the sixth floor. Work on the hotel rooms will continue next year.
The renovation and reopening of the property is part of the alliance sealed at the end of 2021 between Pierre & Vacances and the British investment company Sixth Street for the acquisition, renovation and operation of hotels and holiday centres in Spain.
Sixth Street's first operation in this sense materialized with the purchase of five holiday assets located in the tourist areas of Benidorm (Alicante, Costa Blanca), Roquetas de Mar (Almería), Lloret del Mar (Girona, Costa Brava) and Salou (Tarragona, Costa Dorada).
The agreement foresees that Pierre & Vacances will add the five properties to its catalogue this season, after completing the refurbishment of its facilities. In this respect, Sixth Street plans to invest €9.5 million in the refurbishment of these assets.
Pierre & Vacances currently has a catalogue of 48 hotels in Spain, with a total of 5,586 accommodation units.
