Park Hyatt Marrakech

Hyatt Hotels Corporation recently inaugurated the Park Hyatt Marrakech, marking the brand's entry into Morocco. This is the eleventh Park Hyatt establishment in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.

This opening follows that of the Park Hyatt Zanzibar and precedes the arrival of the Park Hyatt Johannesburg scheduled for 2025.

The Park Hyatt Marrakech offers 130 spacious rooms and suites. The 19-acre resort is nestled at the foot of the Atlas Mountains and is 14.5 km from the historic Medina district of Marrakech. It shares its grounds with the Al Maaden golf complex, offering access to an 18-hole course.

Designed by Marrakech-based interior designer Imaad Rahmouni, the complex comprises 16 pavilions arranged around a central patio. It combines Arab-Berber traditions with a modern aesthetic. The Ifitry artists' residence in Marrakech has collected more than 700 paintings and decorative objects for the complex. The lobby features a suspension by artist Mounat Charrat and abstract paintings by Italian artist Gianni Lucchessi.

The Park Hyatt Marrakech offers two culinary options: TFAYA, an Arabian brasserie, and Le Pavillon, an all-day dining restaurant. It has a 2,000 square foot spa, fitness facilities, yoga studios and several swimming pools, and offers seven function rooms with a residential feel, accommodating up to 80 people. There is also the Living Room, the emblematic social space of Park Hyatt hotels.

"As a key market in our regional growth strategy, we are delighted to announce the opening of Morocco's first Park Hyatt hotel in Marrakech. The property has been a highly anticipated addition to our portfolio as Morocco receives a resurgence of interest as a top tier cultural destination among travel connoisseurs. Offering a wealth of new experiences across the arts, culture, and gastronomy, alongside the area’s historic and ancient treasures, Park Hyatt Marrakech provides guests an enviable opportunity to discover the beauty of the Red City through this modern sanctuary of timeless luxury." - Javier Águila, group president EAME, Hyatt
