Palladium arrives in Colombia

The Spanish group announces its arrival in Colombia with a 5-star hotel.

Last year, the group announced its willingness to find development opportunities through the signing of management contracts in the Caribbean, South America or around the Mediterranean.

This has been achieved with the signing of a contract with the company Promotora Hotelera Altos Guayacanes that will manage the new 5-star hotel complex in Cartagena de Indias under the luxury brand Grand Palladium. The property spread over 50,000 m² will have 400 rooms. It is 17 km from Rafael Núñez International Airport in Cartagena de Indias.

With this project, Palladium Hotel Group adds Colombia to its portfolio of sunny destinations: Spain, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Sicily and Brazil.

As of January 1, 2017, Palladium Hotel Group ranked 81st hotel group worldwide with 43 properties totaling more than 12,000 rooms, according to data published by Hospitality ON. It includes: Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts, Palladium Hotels, TRS Hotels, Fiesta Hotels & Resorts, Ushuaia Unexpected Hotels, Hard Rock Hotel, Ayre Hoteles, Only You Hotels and Palladium Boutique Hotels.
