The Spanish group is opening its first hotel under the Meliá Hotels & Resorts brand in the German city of Frankfurt.
The new property is located inside the new One Forty West tower, a glass skyscraper. It is the first hybrid tower, combining upscale hotel services with luxury apartments. The tower rises to 140 meters, dominating the new Senckenberg Central district, a prime location between the popular districts of Bockenheim and Westend. The Meliá Frankfurt City Hotel is the Spanish group's fourth property in the city that is home to the European Central Bank. This brings the total to more than 120 hotels worldwide for Meliá, which currently operates 25 hotels in Germany under the Meliá Hotels & Resorts, INNSiDE by Meliá (of German origin), TRYP and Affiliated by Meliá concept brands.
The Meliá Frankfurt City Hotel has 431 guest rooms and suites, located from the 1st to the 23rd floors of the tower. The rooms offer a view of the Taunus Mountains, and most have a balcony. The hotel also has a strong F&B concept, including the Oben Restaurant & Sky bar on the 15th floor. It is destined to become a must-see after-party venue in the neighborhood. In addition to the view, it offers refined Mediterranean cuisine to match the range of cocktails on offer. The hotel also wants to open a Neu-Frankfurt restaurant that will offer international cuisine. The hotel also has a fitness room, which offers its guests a wellness program.
The Meliá Frankfurt City Hotel enjoys a prime location, just minutes from the exhibition grounds. It is a real option for both leisure and business guests thanks to its proximity to the airport (about 10 minutes by car). The hotel also offers 1,400 square meters of meeting, conference, and event space. Each room has the advantage of natural light due to its height and is equipped with the latest technology.
