The international luxury brand "Conrad Hotels & Resorts", named after its founder, Conrad Hilton, will open its first hotel in Casares, on the site of the former Hotel Doña Julia on the Costa Del Sol, in early 2022.

The complex, named Conrad Costa del Sol, will join the Conrad portfolio of hotels and resorts but will remain the property of the Platinium Estates group of investors, who are also building a hotel in Marbella, which is scheduled to open in 2021.

The 194-room hotel will offer a breathtaking view of the sea and will have two bars, a restaurant, a spa, several indoor and outdoor swimming pools as well as event facilities.

For Carlos Miró, Hilton's General Manager of Development for Spain and Portugal, the opening is :

A milestone in our goal to expand our luxury brands across Europe.

The opening, which requires an investment of 70 million euros, will allow the brand to consolidate its offer on the five continents.

The Costa del Sol attracts millions of international and national tourists every year, drawn by its sandy coast, glamorous ports and charming cities. The province of Málaga benefits from excellent rail and air links with the rest of Spain, continental Europe and the United Kingdom from the city of Málaga, which is just over an hour away from the complex.
