The NYX Hotel Hamburg will open in July 2023 and will be the first property of the NYX Hotels by Leonardo Hotels brand on the banks of the Elbe.
The hotel, located directly on the Fleet in the central Hammerbrook area, features 236 rooms and suites. On the ground floor there is an open lobby with a restaurant, bar and terrace with access to a meeting room.
During the day, the lobby provides an environment for working, relaxing or networking, but in the evening it is transformed into a show stage with DJs, theme nights and artistic performances.
As in all Leonardo hotels, interior designer Andreas Neudahm is the architect of the style. In Hamburg, he plays with Hanseatic colours and nautical symbols, also working with local artists.
The hotel's restaurant, Clash, stands out by offering Levantine cuisine presented in small bowls and suitable for sharing. A popular food trend that originated in Israel, where the Fattal Hotel Group, parent of Leonardo Hotels, is based.
Another asset of all NYX hotels are the so-called "City Lovers", hotel employees who love their city, know it by heart and like to share their favourite addresses and spots with guests. In Hamburg, local personalities such as DJ Kai Schwarz or star pastry chef Marco D'Andrea are among them.
With the launch of the NYX brand on the Hamburg market, Leonardo Hotels Central Europe is continuing its expansion in the German city: this new hotel is the second of three new properties to be opened by the hotel operator in Hamburg in just two years. The Leonardo Hamburg Altona opened in July 2022 and will be followed in early 2024 by 84 Serviced Apartments.
