The development of this Mercure hotel will be the first hotel in Alba Iulia affiliated to an international chain.

Mercure Alba Iulia Cetate Hotel will open its door in the second quarter of 2024. The hotel will work in the framework of a franchise contract with a local investor part of Dentotal Group, a partner of Accor which already opened two hotels with the group: Mercure Bucharest City Center and ibis Styles Bucharest City Center.

This new property will feature 112 rooms and suites on three floors plus attic, a dining restaurant with external terrace, a large banqueting area, a SPA, indoors and outdoors kids’ playground and external and internal parking.

The hotel will be located on Dimitrie Cantemir Street, close to The Citadel and within walking distance from the major touristic landmarks such as the Orthodox Cathedral of the Reunification, the Roman Catholic Cathedral, the National Unification Museum.

Alba Iulia has very good accessibility by motorway as well as the two international airports: Sibiu and Cluj-Napoca. The hotel will be a great destination for both business and leisure travellers.
