Moxy Hotels is set to open in the heart of Bergen

In 2020, Moxy Hotels, Marriott International’s millennial-focused brand, is opening its second property in Norway.

After the opening of Moxy Oslo X (279 rooms), the brand is ready to expand further by launching a 190-room property in Bergen.

True to Moxy style, Moxy Bergen will offer communal spaces and a bar, wishing to become an affordable hangout spot for travelers and locals alike.

Core Hospitality is a newly established Danish white label hotel operator (Q4 2017) as well as a sister company to Zleep Hotels. The company, independent of brands, will also operate Moxy Hotels in Copenhagen (2019) and recently acquired the activities of Hotel Marina (126 rooms) in Vedbæk, north of Copenhagen.

Moxy Hotels opened its first hotel in Milan in 2014. The brand has since strengthened its presence with 20 hotels worldwide and has over 90 properties in its development pipeline,  including 40 new destinations in Europe.

As of January 1, 2018, Marriott International had 6,431 properties, representing a capacity of 1,235,512 rooms, according to Hospitality ON data.
