The new Soho House Copenhagen will open in the Danish capital in July 2022. The announcement follows other recent Soho House openings in Brighton, Nashville and Los Angeles.
The membership club will be located on the waterfront street of Havnegade, in central Copenhagen. The opening will see the former customs house and ferry terminal converted into a space for Danish creatives to socialise and network.
The two-storey House will consist of a members’ Club space, an outdoor terrace with a view over the water and a Club Cecconi restaurant. Additionally, the 'Customs Room' will provide a calm, co-working space in the day and events space in the evening for members. A gym and studio space called Soho Active is also planned to open on the second floor of the building.
Exclusively accessible to members and their guests, the House will be designed by Soho House Design and feature an interior inspired by local artists and architects such as Lili Elbe and Arne Jacobsen. Vintage pieces made in Denmark using regional fabrics and materials will complete the furnishings.
Copenhagen is an exciting city to open our first House in Scandinavia and I can’t wait to welcome interesting, talented and kind people from its vibrant creative scene to our global membership.
